My family and I are proud to become a part of the Vernonia community. I have been a pastor for 13 yrs. I was called to ministry 16 yrs ago in a rural logging community of Brady Washington. That lead to moving my family to Multnomah biblical seminary for training. Then we served with Village Missions in Eddyville, Or. for 8 years and Helix Oregon until coming here. I enjoy hunting, fishing and building relationships with God’s people. I’m really looking forward to getting to know this community and becoming involved in the great things God is doing now and will do in the future to the glory of Jesus Christ. When my wife and I are not busy building up the church, we are spending time with our other business, Carpenter’s Guest House.

My name is Carole and I have been Pastor Mac’s assistant since October of 2015. He gets quite busy at times, so I help assist him by managing his professional schedule, answering the phone, organizing his reports from meetings, contacting church Elders and other small jobs as necessary. God has blessed me with wonderful gifts such as organization, good time management, and most important flexibility. I truly enjoy serving God and Pastor Mac!

Greetings. I Invite you into saving grace that is Jesus Christ. Nothing is more important than this! Jesus will receive you with open arms as will I. I know this is the Part where we tell a little about ourselves. I am no one really and yet I am a child of the King. I am a sinner and yet loved enough by Jesus who forgives and offers grace to all who will receive in faith. To the stranger this has the sounding of a crazy man, the crazy love God has for each of us. Open you heart to me God says and know this. I have known you since before the foundations of the world. It does not get more personal than that. We are wired for relationship with God. I love His Word, it is rich and will never return to Him or us void; it has the power of salvation.

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel! That quote from Zechariah in Luke 1:68 can often be heard shouted in the sanctuary of GFF. Zechariah was muted by God’s messenger Gabriel because of his disbelief. It wasn’t until after his son was born and he confirmed in writing that his son’s name was to be John that he was able to talk and proclaim the above phrase. What blessings are you missing out on because of disbelief or ignorance? Take time out from your busy, hectic life schedule and join us to find out who you are and what you can be in Christ Jesus. My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31. Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.

Hello, my name is Jack Lindsley. I was born and raised in Vernonia and I love it here. I had a brief time living out in the valley but decided there was no place like home. I worked 39 years in Beaverton at ORPRC and commuted most of those years until my retirement.
My walk with the Lord has been up and down a few times, but finally I am settled in and moving forward with my Lord Jesus. I was saved at age 16 in the Vernonia Nazarene Church. Later I pioneered a Foursquare Church in that same building. The present day Foursquare Church meets still there.
Jessie my wife and I are members of Grace Family Fellowship and love it here. I am an elder and love serving my people. We enjoy our small group meetings Wednesday nights and encourage you to join us.

Hello and welcome! My name is Karin Goodman and I am the Nursery Team leader here at Grace Family Fellowship. I am married to Elder Jeff Goodman and we raised three beautiful children in the nursery of this church.
I believe God has called me to this ministry. Ecclesiastes chapter 3 says “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the heaven.” He has gifted me with a love of caring for children. I believe this is my purpose.
My team and I will do our very best to provide your little ones with a safe and joyful place to stay while providing you the opportunity and enjoyment of an uninterrupted service like I had for many years when my children were younger.
God has made this position a joyful priority in my life.

I’m Cathy Meyer and I am the Service Team Leader for Grace Family Fellowship. Besides being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and school bus driver for the Vernonia Schools, I serve the Lord by providing nourishment to the church body and the community through love and grace. Ministries within the service ministry are our food cupboard, prayer chain, flowers & card ministry. I also coordinate use of our church buildings for individuals or organizations to use. In the summer, I prepare food with the help of other volunteers for the Summer Meal program. The program is sponsored by the Vernonia School District in partnership with Partners for Hunger Free Oregon. It is such a joy to serve the Lord!
