Dear Prayer Partners and Supporters,

Hello again this month. We hope this prayer letter finds you well and growing in your wonder and dedication to Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers and support last month! We always do appreciate your holding us up in prayer and financial support. Please find below this month’s prayer requests. (This month I have written only one page because of scheduling and time constraints! I do plan to write the regular two pages next month again.)

9 OCT Stephen—teach Eng. & Bible at a neighborhood private Kindergarten. PRAY—salvation of children
10 OCT Mrs. H will come and study the Bible with us for the first time today. PRAY—GOD to guide our time
11 OCT prep for this month’s teaching & outreach mtgs. PRAY—faith to define GOD-sized goals this month
12 OCT Micheal & Virginia Weros, daughter Abigail, come to help us in Kobe this month. PRAY—for their spiritual preparations, GOD to prepare new contacts to come to mtgs we will advertise
13 OCT SUN start meeting in our NEW location! A rented room across our neighborhood shopping center PRAY—thank GOD for the availability and location of this room! PRAY—for our members to invite friends
15 OCT Satomi—today: Parenting seminar for Kndrgrtn moms—PRAY: GOD to touch & draw hearts to Him
16 OCT we are still lacking in monthly financial support. PRAY—for GOD to supply the increase thru people
17 OCT Jessi & Jenni are both in college away from us. PRAY—for consistent, refreshing daily devotions
18 OCT attend Mission Conference of Immanuel Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. PRAY—good relationships
19 OCT we desire to be an encouragement to the members we meet during IBC’s Mission Conference
20 OCT SUN may GOD use this final day to motivate & confirm specific persons for missions involvement
21 OCT Jessi is in Copenhagen, Denmark, (Study Abroad program)—PRAY for spiritual growth, social skill
22 OCT Jenni is in Newberg, OR. PRAY—for awareness of GOD’s grace & power, perseverance in studies
23 OCT Satomi—still (!) has face/skin allergy reactions from food preservatives. PRAY—for grace to abound
24 OCT Satomi—Bible & Baking outreach for neighbor housewives—PRAY for GOD to draw women to Him
25 OCT PRAY for our physical & emotional health. We are well, but our daily lives are full of faith challenges!
26 OCT we PRAY for Jessi and Jenni to find a church they can commit to and grow with, serve at
27 OCT SUN Praise & Sharing Sunday for our church plant. May our people share from overflowing lives
28 OCT PRAY—GOD send us out in our community, meet new persons for Christ, GOD to send them to us
29 OCT our marriage—we miss our girls dearly, & we enjoy our marriage at this stage also! Thank you GOD
30 OCT Stephen—every WED Stephen teaches English & Bible at a nearby Kindergarten. We love children! Satomi—every WED Satomi leads our women’s Bible mtg; a time of great encouragement & sharing
31 OCT Stephen—every THUR Stephen teaches English to 5 pre-schoolers. PRAY their mothers will desire to have Satomi teach them Biblical parenting principles.

1 NOV we have been praying about outreach meetings in NEW locations. PRAY for guidance and timing
2 NOV PRAY for us to disciple our believers to maturity and for them to evangelize & train others
3 NOV SUN may GOD send new persons to our church plant from personal invitation by our members
4 NOV PRAY for the development of a Japan-wide church planting movement in our generation
5 NOV Baking & Parenting Outreach in Awaji Island? PRAY—GOD would show His goodness to attendees
6 NOV we are sojourners on this earth. May all of us always have eternity in our eyes, Christ as the perfecter of our faith.
